Coston wins PNW Senior PGA event, leads contingent to national tourney

Jeff Coston of Semiahmoo G&CC (Blaine, WA) won by one stroke over Brent Murray of Oswego Lake CC (Lake Oswego, OR) in the PNW Senior PGA Professional Championship presented by Cadillac at Bear Creek CC.

In addition to Coston and Murray, Bob Rannow of Ocean Dunes Golf Links (Florence, OR), Joey Carranza of Aldarra GC (Falls City, WA), Mark Tunstill of Mallard Creek GC (Lebanon, OR), Mark Keating of OGA GC (Woodburn, OR) and Jim Schaeffer of Waverley CC (Portland, OR) all earned spots into the 31st Senior PGA Professional Championship presented by Cadillac, to be played October 3-6 at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, Texas.   Steve Reuhl of Bothell, WA won the Senior Division.

Past champions entered in the event include Tom Sovay of The GC at Redmond Ridge (2018), Steve Stull of Richland, WA (2017, 2014), Rob Gibbons of Arrowhead GC (2016), Jeff Coston of Semiahmoo G&CC (2013, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007 and 2006), Chuck Milne of Vanco Driving Range (2012, 2000), and Bill Tindall of Redmond, WA (1996).
