When Circling Raven Golf Club opened for play, the awards and reviews came quickly. The course was named among the best new in the country when it opened and golfers from far and wide came to play to check out the vastness of the Gene Bates-designed course and the stunning views that went along with it.

Even 15 years later, not much as changed, Circling Raven is still an award-winning golf course and the terrific reviews just keep on coming (see Trip Advisor). The course is owned by the Coeur d’ Alene Indian Tribe and is located in Worley, Idaho and covers more than 600 acres.

Bates has recently come up with a renovation plan to help get Circling Raven ready for its next 15 years. Bates has come up with a master plan which will include renovating, removing and/or adding bunkers, leveling existing tees as well as creating new ones, re-grassing greens with a new bentgrass variety and exploring the addition of new holes adjacent to the practice area.
