Calcavecchia wins Boeing Classic in playoff against Russ Cochran

Mark Calcavecchia defeated Russ Cochran on the first playoff hole to get his first Champions Tour victory at the Boeing Classic. It was a thrilling finish in front of record crowds at TPC Snoqualmie Ridge as 30,000 fans cheered our new Champion.

“Even if I hadn’t won or even if I finished 20th or 30th, this is a place that I enjoy,” Calcavecchia said of his Boeing Classic experience. “I thought the course played fabulous. I’m thankful that Boeing sponsors this tournament and signed (an extension) for another few years. That’s awesome.”
