Brady Sharp wins Oregon Open

Brady Sharp of Wine Valley GC (Walla Walla) won the Oregon Open Invitational by one stroke over Liam Kendregan of Sand Point Country Club (Seattle) and amateur Robbie Ziegler of RedTail Golf Club (Beaverton, Ore.) at Arrowhead Golf Club in Molalla, Ore.

Sharp fired rounds of 71-68 for a 139 total to win the two-round tournament, which usually is a three-day event but cut short because of the Covid-19 situation.

Kendregan had the lowest round of the tournament shooting a 66 moving up in the standings while Ziegler won the low amateur honors with rounds of 73-67.

First-round leader Brian Nosler finished tied for sixth after shooting a 68 in the opening round.

Amateurs Justin Kadin of Tetherow (Bend) and Craig Ronne of Emerald Valley tied for fourth place at 141 –– two shots behind.
