Bill Overdorf: One of the Pacific NW’s top designers passes

One of the top golf course designers, Bill Overdorf, passed away earlier this summer.

Overdorf passed away at home with his family on June 29, 2015 at the age of 81. Bill is best known for his work on Aspen Lakes Golf Course in Sisters, Ore., Homestead Golf Club in Lynden, Wash. and The Classic Golf Club in Spanaway, Wash.

Overdorf also worked on many more projects in the Northwest including  Highland Golf Course in Cosmopolis, Wash., Raspberry Ridge Golf Course in Everson, Wash. and The Golf Club at Hawk’s Prairie in Lacey, Wash.
