Bandon Dunes Resort on the Oregon Coast continues to be a favorite of the United States Golf Association. The resort will be a host course for the inaugural USGA Four-Ball Championship in 2015.

The USGA recently said it was doing away with the Men’s and Women’s Public Links Championships. Instead the USGA will hold men’s and women’s Four-Ball Championships starting in 2015.

The Olympic Club in San Francisco will host the Men’s Four-Ball Championship while Bandon Dunes will play host to the USGA Women’s Four-Ball Championship.

The new championships, which will be held annually between mid-March and late May, are the first to be added to the USGA championship schedule since 1995, when the USGA Men’s and Women’s State Team Championships were created to mark the Association’s centennial.
