Bellevue High School girls golf team just won its fourth consecutive 3A state championship at Deer Park Golf Club in Spokane.
Senior Tatum Otto won individual Honors shooting a course record in first round 65 – 7 under par. Lowest score ever shot (boys or girls) in history of WIAA Championship. Tatum shot 72 in second round in spite of fighting food poisoning. She won the title in a four-hole play off with teammate Nicole Tang who shot 68-69.
Tatum was named player of year for Kingco with Nicole Tang, Katie Jang, Kayla Cruz. First team All League and Charlene Stolte honorable mention.
Ann Swanson had the privilege of coaching these girls this season. Their previous coach was Tori Marcum now athletic director at Interlake High School.
