Austin Hurt of Wing Point Golf and Country Club (Bainbridge Island, Wash.) won the Pacific Northwest PGA Professional Championship presented by Club Car, Corebridge Financial and Rolex at Tumble Creek Club by one stroke over Brandon Drake of  CDA National Reserve (Coeur d’Alene, ID).

In addition to Hurt and Drake, Derek Berg of PNW Golf Academy (Seattle, Wash.), Corey Prugh of Community Colleges of Spokane, Scott Erdmann of Oswego Lake CC (Lake Oswego, Ore.), Liam Kendregan of Sand Point CC (Seattle, Wash.) and Jeff Coston of Semiahmoo G&CC (Blaine, Wash.) all earned spots to advance to the National Championship next spring.

In addition to the top seven finishers in the tournament, Colin Inglis of Shadow Hills Country Club,  Russell Grove of North Idaho College and Chip Sullivan already have spots based on past performance.

The National Championship will bring together the top club professionals from the country and from there the top 20 in that tournament will earn a spot in the 2024 PGA Championship next May at Valhalla in Kentucky.
