Just when you thought you might have seen every story about hole-in-ones – along comes this one from Alderbrook Golf & Yacht Club along Hood Canal. Turns out, not only did one player make a hole-in-one on this day, but a total of three men made aces – all on the same hole. The hole plays to 153 yards from white tees.
The odds? How about 27 trillion to 1, or so.
Meet Richard Ives, Randy Shelton and Kieran Collins the three players who all aced the par-3 sixth hole at Alderbrook on the same day. Ives did his while playing in a men’s club event while Shelton and Collins had their aces after the event.
Three aces, same hole. Wow.
