Young wins national award

Ryan Young, the director of instruction at Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Wash., won the 2018 Emil Esposito Golf Professional of the Year award winner by Kemper Sports, the organization that manages Chambers Bay.

Young was recognized for his entrepreneurial spirit, passion for player development, inclusivity and diversity, and commitment to leadership.  

Young was honored for being the driving force while leading Chambers Bay’s youth and player development programming.
