Nelson wins WSGA Volunteer honor

At the 95th WSGA Annual Meeting, held at Fairwood G&CC in Renton, Wash., Dave Nelsen was honored as the 2016 George Holland Volunteer of the Year.

Mild mannered, soft spoken and dedicated are very good descriptions of Dave. He has been a valued member of the WSGA Course Rating Committee for more than six years, and in 2016 he participated in 18 course ratings, traveling all over the state, and made himself available for all 40 course ratings performed by the WSGA. He has been a member of the Riverbend Men’s Club since 2010.
