Malby wins Senior Oregon Open

PGA Professional Ryan Malby of Kalispel, Mont. won the Senior Oregon Open Invitational at Wildhorse Resort in Pendleton, Ore. in a three-hole playoff against PGA Professional Jeff Gove of The Idaho Club (Sandpoint, Idaho).  They both birdied the first hole, pared the second and Malby birdied the third hole for the win. Both players finished the tournament at 12 under par for the two rounds. Mark Knowles of McCormick Woods was third at 10 under.  Low amateur honors went to Jay Poletiek of Columbia Edgewater CC (Vancouver, WA).
