There will be a new home for the Northwest Open Invitational starting in 2022.

The Home Course in DuPont, Wash. will be the home of the Northwest Open Invitational beginning in 2022. The inaugural agreement is for three years with the prospect of an additional two years. The tournament will feature a 168-player field consisting of professional and amateur golfers from the Pacific Northwest. The event had been held at Wine Valley Golf Club in Walla Walla, Wash.

The 2022 Northwest Open Invitational will take place on May 16-18. This marks a significant change from the August dates that the event occupied in recent years. In order to accommodate the move from summer to spring, the Muckleshoot Casino Washington Open Invitational will move from May to August, effectively swapping places in the Pacific Northwest PGA tournament schedule.

The Home Course, known as “The Home of Golf in the Northwest,” has previously hosted other Pacific Northwest PGA events. The National Car Rental Pacific Northwest PGA Assistant Championship was held there in 2018; it was also the site of the Pacific Northwest PGA Senior Championship in 2015.
