Former Major League Baseball pitcher and amateur Erik Hanson shot a three-round total of 207 to win the 7 Cedars Senior Washington Open at the Cedars at Dungeness in Sequim, Wash. Hanson fired rounds of 71-69-67 to win the event by two shots. Hanson plays out of Sahalee Country Club.
Amateur Pat O’Donnell of Arrowhead in Molalla, Ore. finished tied for second with professional Tony Robydek of Meadow Park at 209 while amateur Tim O’Neal of Royal Oaks tied for fourth with professionals Mark Knowles of McCormick Woods and Jeff Coston of Semiahmoo at 210.
