National amateur tournaments that you can play in 2023 in Las Vegas and Myrtle Beach

If you are looking for road trips to play in some amateur tournaments around the country, here are a couple that are worth the time.

   • Las Vegas World Amateur

The annual event is set for Feb. 27-March 1 at three of Las Vegas top golf courses. The field will be divided into flights with each flight playing individual net.

The first round will be at the Revere Lexington course; the second round will be at the Revere Concord course with the final round at Chimera. Entry fee is $650. For information see www.vegasworldam.com

   • World Am Q School

The annual World Am Q School will be played March 13-15 at some of Myrtle Beach’s top golf courses. The three-day tournament includes tournament rounds of golf, daily lunches, a welcome gift and more.

Entry fee is $329 for the three rounds and the field will be limited to it’s important to sign up quickly. See www.worldamqschool.com for more information.
