Former PNGA Player of the Year wins PGA Tour event

A former Pacific Northwest Golf Association Player of the Year found the winner’s circle for the first time on the PGA Tour.

Adam Svensson captured the RSM Classic at Sea Island, GA, giving him his first career PGA Tour victory.

Svensson, of Surrey, British Columbia was named the PNGA Junior Player of the Year in 2012 and then the PNGA Player of the Year in 2024.

It was Svensson’s 70th career start on the PGA Tour and this victory earned him status for the next two years on tour, an invite to The Masters and other championship events.

This is Svensson’s second season on tour.
