Chambers Bay will play host to the United States Amateur this year, along with the Home Course in DuPont giving Northwest golf fans a chance to be part of the action.
The event will take place Aug. 23-29 with qualifying at both Chambers Bay and the Home Course. The match play part of the event will be at Chambers Bay.
Tickets to see the world’s top amateur players are available and are affordable. Daily tickets to the tournament are just $25 with a week-long championship ticket available for $65.
Kids 17 and under will be admitted free into the tournament with a paid ticketed adult.
Puyallup native and PGA Tour star Ryan Moore is the honorary chairman for the event and is a past champion as well.
