There was talk during the LPGA season that the Portland LPGA Classic was on life support and might not return for the 2025 season. But all of that has changed now that the LPGA has come out with its schedule for the 2025 season.

The Portland Standard Classic is set for the 2025 season and will be held Aug. 14-17. The tournament site has not yet been announced but there will be an LPGA event in the Portland area in 2025.

The LPGA has been involved with the Portland market since its inception back in 1972 -making it the longest-running LPGA tournament in one city.

The tournament has been held at five different locations but Columbia Edgewater Country Club has been the longest running host. The event has also been held at the Portland Golf Club, Riverside Country Club, Pumpkin Ridge and the Oregon Golf Club.

Thailand’s Moriya Jutamuhgrm won the 2024 tournament when it was held last year at Columbia Edgewater Country Club.
