The Home Course owned by the PNGA, is getting a face-lift just in time for the 2010 U.S. Amateur in August. The course, located in DuPont, will play as a qualifying site for two rounds of the U.S Amateur before the match play part heads to Chambers Bay for the final rounds.

The course will have a new look on the 11th and 12th holes – a new look that is already open for those golfers who already play the course.

The 11th hole was formerly a par-3 but new tees have stretched it into a par-4 and a large, deep bunker guards the front of the green and makes for a tough shot. The 12th hole has been turned from a par-4 to a par-3 and some greenside bunkers are new, deep and make for some tough shots.
